Luz Mercedes Miller Owner, CEO & Founder | La Mercedes Events
LME was born from something deeply personal — growing up in a Dominican household where every milestone was celebrated loudly, joyfully, and with heart. My parents came to this country with a dream, built businesses, and showed me what was possible when you bet on yourself. I carried that same fire into Corporate America, earned my degree in Management Science, and eventually built LME — a luxury event venue rooted in the same warmth and joy I grew up in.
I am a proud first-generation Latina daughter of Dominican immigrants, a corporate professional, a devoted mother of four, and a grandmother. My journey didn't start in a boardroom — it started with a dream bigger than my circumstances. Today, I stand fully invested in this vision, bringing the discipline and precision of my corporate background to every single event we host.
Every event hosted at LME reflects my commitment to excellence, organization, and intentional design. With a background in leadership and client experience, I understand that hosting an event is more than booking a venue — it's about trust.
